Description
Veterinarian Assistant and Technician is responsible for assisting Veterinarians with patient care and treatment. This includes animal restraint, in house lab work, preparing prescriptions, monitoring patients, boarding and kennel responsibilities and interacting with clients.
|
Skills
Background in science or related field. College degree or comparable work experience. Will train applicant in areas of hospital procedures. Strong communication skills along with familiarity with computers and animals. Willingness to work as part of a team in a fast paced hospital environment. Good attention to detail.
|
Notes
Part time position. Must be able to work half day on Saturdays. No phone calls please.
