Description
Heavy Industrial Manufacturing Company of vermiculite and perlite with 25-30 employees is seeking a full time production manager for its Lawrence MA facility. This is a hand on position that requires the candidate to be available for off shift assistance. The position requires a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience in a fast-paced 3 shift, up to 7 day a week environment. The candidate will work directly under the Plant manager and in charge of the entire production staff. Responsibilities will include all aspects of manufacturing operation including scheduling production, personnel, maintenance, training, inventory control, customer service and quality control.
This position requires the candidate to have strong mechanical ability and experienced in supervising production crews, multitask, self-motivated and be able to work without constant supervision and direction. Experience in other production related fields such as concrete, aggregates, asphalt, mining, paper mills, foundry, as well as the food industries would be considered similar and useful
