The New Hampshire Job Corps Center is seeking a dynamic, positive Food Service Assistant to be a part of a thriving team! The New Hampshire Job Corps Center is a federally funded, residential vocational training facility. Our mission is to provide cost-free, career-based technical and academic training along with job placement assistance to low-income youths ages 16-24.
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Advanced degrees preferred.
Experience in a food services operation desired.
Ability to obtain ServSafe Food Handlers Certification.
Have the ability to lift 40 pounds.
Must be 21 years of Age.
Provides superior customer service at all times.
Provides work quality in a thorough, timely and accurate manner by meeting assignment goals and deadlines.
Maintains appropriate personal attendance, accountability and work productivity standards.
Helps prepare food as necessary.
Transfers food, supplies, and equipment between storage, kitchen, and cafeteria areas.
Cleans food service areas and equipment.
Prepares cafeteria for student meal times.
Provides a high-quality supervision and management for the student population by mentoring, monitoring and modeling by the company’s Career Success Standards policy.
